Russell entered the AV world over 20 years ago involved in the introduction of Interactive Whiteboard Technology to the Classroom and Meeting room environment and then rapidly moving into new world of Audience response technology. Working for e-instruction a leading pioneer in the industry Russell built reseller channels across UK and Europe. Russell also worked directly with key Education and Corporate end users to help support product development and ensure the customers had a solution that was as effective as it could be. Building Channels and End User alliances enabled Russell to move into the world of Audio, launching and developing a European channel for Revolabs, a secure digital wireless microphone for the meeting room, or classroom.

The success of this brand saw the technology implemented in some of the worlds largest customers and ultimately led to Yamaha purchasing the brand where Russell became Director of EMEA for a new unified communications division of Yamaha. In the remaining time at Yamaha Russell continued to grow the business and integrated new products and solutions to the family whilst continuing to engage clients at the highest level to assess, appraise and introduce the technology into their environments.

After a brief spell running sales & marketing for a leading European Distributor in the Print and 3D print market, Russell joins us at AVworx to build on our incredible growth in the UK and overseas. Russell lives in the North West of England with his wife and three children and currently enjoys running, football, golf and Art when he is not dodging the corona virus and doing the gardening.

After completing a 5 year electrical and mechanical apprenticeship covering disciplines such as PLC electronics, commercial electrical, mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and tool making.

Dan then moved on and served 15 years in the RAF as an electronics and communications engineer. This saw him working in areas such as specialist field and covert communications, IT infrastructure, specialist communications installations, radar and airfield electronics then, moving onto above secret video conferencing, television studio, digital signage, IPTV, complex control environments for MOD and Government.

On leaving the RAF he worked in a security cleared environment involved in bespoke AV/VC designing and project managing for the MOD.

He then moved to a Solutions Architect role for an AV Integrator, designing several large scale deployments for global, blue chip and well known companies, creating standards which have been used across their estates.

He then started AVworx as he wanted to provide a bespoke service with the high standards of design and security built in that he had learned from his past.  Connecting with and getting to understand the client and their needs.  Delivering beyond expectations.
